automatic or manual shifting

did I somehow turn on manual shift or is this patched in?

Press F1(Function Key 1) during an event. The setting should stay the same from that point on unless you switch it again.

yeah thx mate :D i knew it would be either a patch or i accidentally pressed a key. however, i find that driving manual offers way better drifting

You're welcome. Manual is the only way to go for drifting. Can't clutch kick a pedal that isn't there.
