Be careful uninstalling Windows Update KB2670838
As the title states, be extra careful when uninstalling KB2670838.

I had just done this, even made a restore point before hand figuring something would probably go wrong, and something did indeed go wrong but my Restore Point was nowhere to be found for some odd reason. Well I uninstalled KB2670838, restarted, instantly noticed my theme was set as having no Desktop Composition with no option to change it back, the option was gone completely under Performance options, restarting fixed that but I also noticed all of my Steam game shortcuts were blank and showed .url at the end, weird but I figured I could fix it, then I noticed any folder I opened inside of Explorer would open in a new window even with that option checked off under the folder view options, next, Zune was crashing when loading my library and Foobar's panels were gone with errors constantly popping up. I spent a good 20 minutes and figured out that Internet Explorer was missing, no biggie I thought, just go to Windows Features and enable it, WRONG, it was completely gone, everything related to IE had completely disappeared from my PC, so I thought I'd just reinstall it, well after many hours of trying to reinstall IE11 using the official installer from Microsoft's website, doing SFC scans, etc. I could not get IE to reinstall, it would keep failing during install. Well, I found an installer for IE9 which surprisingly worked perfect and after installing and restarting, it fixed every single issue that was brought up from uninstalling KB2670838. So just be warned, anyone who does uninstall it.

I absolutely adore Lost Planet but I was super afraid I'd have to do a repair install or something drastic like reformatting. I personally think there should be a warning in every thread mentioning the removal of KB2670838. Or have it stickied as a fix with a warning.
