I thought so. I do use a controller though, and that seems to be a big issue with some people. There is also a bug that will not allow you to use the "high" setting for PhysX by default...but there is possible fix (posted in the forum) - at least it worked for me :)

You do know how to fly a jetpack, right? ;)

Definitely go through the training to get the controls down...there is also some jumping and ledge climbing (tomb raider style). Much of the game is on ground though. It is quite linear but there seemed to be some exploration..

Absolutely! I played this game on PS3 and enjoyed it and the Steam price is very tasty these days... but... I won't buy it until I'm sure that this game will be ported from GfWL to Steam drm/achievements.

Only MS marketplace version had G4WL achievos. No other version (boxed or other digital) had those.

I'd say yes and I think this is an underrated game which was bashed and criticized when it came out on consoles and PC. There are plenty of small issues. Maybe some repetitiveness. But it is a unique game and has a pretty good plot somewhat based on alien conspiracies many people believe today.
Best thing I like aboutt this is how you can run around on foot and shoot then seemlessly fly up with your cheesy jetpack. When you fly the sense of speed and aerodynamics is kind of realistic and controls like a decent flight simulator.
For $2.49 you probably owe it to yourself to own this game, even if you end up never playing it.

had it on the 360 its a fun game if the controls work (as capcom ports are a bit iffy sometimes)
for the price yes its worth

Another random opinion... Yes, this game is very much worth it. Especially for $2.49. I too played it on console (PS3 version.) It's definitely a fun third-person shooter; with aerial jetpack fighting, and guns. I'd say it's underrated, and forgotten. May not be the best, but It will definitely be worth your time.

On a side note; this game plays terribly onmouse & keyboard. Recommend playing it with Xbox 360 controller. Also, you may get problems: like crashing and such (bad console port), due to video card issues, etc. Some don't have a solution... but for $2.49, what's there to lose?

I did buy Dark Void after all these postive comments. I figure it's worth $2.49 for some fun even if it has its flaws.
It depends on a working controller since this game has QTE's (keyboard qte_ing seems bugged for me..might be framerate out of synch or that i have controller hooked up)
But once u figured the controls this game is great. Some of the interiors might look a bit generic for todays standards but since its about the combat that doesnt matter much to me.
definetly worth 2.50 ...would love to see an expansion.
Gonna play it again on hardcore to get all pickups (i never do that..so this means something in terms of gameplay:))
