Game Not Launching
I downloaded it and put in my CD key. Now when I go to the launcher and click "Launch Dark Void" nothing happens!

Yeah, is there any remedy of any sort for this? Was really looking forward to flyin' around.

Check that ya anti-virus isn't blocking the launcher application, I know of someone who uses Avast and it was picking it up as a virus which isn't true it's a false positive.

Exclude the following in ya anti-virus from any further searches and fingers crossed it should work.

The Launcher.exe found here C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dark Void or where ever you have the game installed.

The ShippingPC-SkyGame which can be found here C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dark Void\nativePC\Binaries again or where ever you have the game installed

Completely disabled AVG, still nothing.

Not working for me, either. The Launch Window pops up and when I click launch, nothing happens other than, my working cursor spins for a few and stops. I check Task Manager and there's no game running.

Completely disabling won't make any difference, you've got to exclude the games .exe from your anti-virus. Just turning it off won't matter as when you turn the antu-virus back on it will just block the exe, you've got to exclude it so that it won't stop it from workin.

Yeah, this is exactly what happens for me. I watch the border of my profile in the bottom right turn green when the launcher pops up, then a few seconds later, it's blue again.

Well it doesn't matter what happens when I turn it back on. It doesn't work while off, it won't work while on.

It's not working because the anit-virus is blocking it from launching, so you've got to add the exe to the exclude list in your anti-virus so that it doesn't scan the games exe and stop it from launching.

I can't for the life of me find a place on my antivirus that says anything about exe files being stopped, or a place to allow certain files through.

I got mine to work after doing a few things. Had nothing to do with my AV software at all. I went into the files and reinstalled both PhysX applications and started the game through Steam and it worked.
