Very little, DX10 has slightly better lighting I believe.

Though, DX10 also has a nasty habit of causing problems with Debug mode and various mods.

Graphics API which then affects graphics.

For stuff other than that, certain mods, trainers will only work for one or the other. I did notice an absence of the loading bar on DX10, which is why I use it over DX9. Debug mode versions are available for both DX9 and 10, have yet to have problems with the latter.

I'd go with DX9, more stable and better FPS (from my experience)
