Been ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around trying to make any progress on finding the second artifact for at least 4 or 5 hours. This is also a very hard thing to search for help on without getting spoiled all to hell.
Would have been much better if there were any sort of feedback or animation on that gold thing. Like if it rolled around in place like as a trackball or something. Or even if there were some of that UV paint stuff on the ball and the lamp, to trigger some sort of idea on what to do with it besides click it furiously and in vain. Anything!
I ended up on pushing down hard, leaving my finger on the orb and circling my finger at a steady pace (but NOT too fast!) to gain momentum and speed. Then I swung it in the direction I needed... It barely moved at all until quite a bit of time...
Not well designed at all!
Thx for this thread and the help evrryone!
In a jankier game it wouldn't be a problem, but the puzzle design / player communication in this game is generally so good that I trusted the interface, and that's what got me. If The Room Three's is ever updated again, devs, I'd strongly advise making the ball move more.
How am I supposed to solve this 'puzzle'? The replies above didn't help at all unfortunately. How Fireproof Games has put this ridiculous thing in their (otherwise awesome) games is beyond me. Hopefully someone will have the solution for me.
EDIT: Just tried it again for 10 minutes. The chandelier only moves back and forth slightly, never picking up 'speed', the camera never focuses on the chandelier either.
