two bugs, one gamebreaking
the first bug involves rotating cranks, dials, etc. they jutter around with no precision whatsoever. it's really annoying.
the major problem is as follows: in the hub, the game softlocks if you move to the greenhouse; i'm currently holding one crystal and a bow shaped device with a wheel. my computer's task manager says that it's responding, so maybe it's stuck in a loop. i don't know, i'm not a hacker. :steamfacepalm:

Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

For the jitter issue, please try turning the graphics to Very Low to see if that helps.

For the softlock issue, please try the following -

Restart your PC and try again (it’s always worth a try!)

Verify that the game downloaded correctly. Right-click on the game in your Steam library, select Properties->Local Files, and select “Verify integrity of game cache”

Check that your drivers are up-to-date. You can find instructions on that here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6416-EYDH-0477

If all of that fails, please send us a mail (info@fireproofgames.com), and include the following files:

The game’s log. Find this by right-clicking the game in your Steam library, selecting “Properties->Local Files”, and then “Browse local files”. Open the “TheRoomTwo_Data” folder, and send us “output_log.txt” if it exists
Your DxDiag report file. Press the Windows and R keys, and in the “Run” dialogue that opens, type “DxDiag”. Press the “Save all information” button and send us the resulting file.

Keep us posted and we'll do what we can to help.

I had the same problem with the jittery dial etc. I turn the quality to ultra low (very low) and it fixed it for me. for the second part, I have no idea, sorry :<

What are your specs? I'm running with everything on full at 1080p on a pretty old machine (i5-2500k/GTX770/16GB RAM) and I'm not getting any problems aside from ending cinematics not playing.

I'm stuck on the antler puzzle because apparently it's not possible for them to get into perfect alignment.

Quitting the game and restarting on "low" graphics settings (not "very low") fixed the antler thing. It was really dumb, the top of the antler just kept spinning crazily around.

I've stumbled upon some spinning bugs also. The low settings in my case doesn't cross out the bugs but restarting the game do.

I have the same problem. I tried low, very low, window, full screen, various resolutions ... nothing worked.
I realized that the topic is old, why hasn't there been any correction yet?

Add me to the list of people that have problems spinning items. it doesn't jitter it just doesn't react to the motion. I've tried changing my mouse speed (originally at middle - tried both super fast and super slow). Also tried changing the settings as outlined above - and nothing. Sometimes a restart and it will act correctly. Just frustrating. This is a great game besides (I'm currently at the castle/house inside the painting and completely stuck as the building won't spin).
