PS: You should come and see the Discord chat of HOF2! I literally spoke about this two days ago!
Or, if this is intentional, I'd like to see Mother's Blessing and Eternal Hope in platinum, if possible, and with a "Platinum Blessing" attribute that explains that their power comes at the cost of always being chosen over other blessings if you would lose a blessing at random. (It'd also leave a neat red herring in The Devil, with players expecting Apollyon to somehow try to rob them of Eternal Hope).
When I meet the "Merchant from distant lands" and he offers me equipment in exchange for an accidental blessing, he always wants to take away the "Mother's blessing" or "Eternal hope", if I have one. ALWAYS.
Seemed pretty suspicious. I haven't played a lot of endless to know if this is always the case, but it seems just like the blessings. (Also, to the extent I have lost random blessings before, it has always taken Mother's when I had it).
I understand why this is so, but it's a bit stupid, no?
