Illicit trading still buggy

Was playing the excellent new beast DLC mission and along the way stepped on Illicit trade card. It offered to buy Lion Heart, which was perfect, had tons of money so I went ahead and paid 50 gold. The encounters ends however I ended up with no artifact at all, the slot was blank :(

Might want to check into this. Still got the gold token despite :p
