Hand of Fate 2
"Charged Bash"? What's that?
What is a "charged bash" ability?
For example, the pious robes say you have to use 25 charged bash abilities to unlock the token. I have 0.
I've tried holding the bash button to charge it up, and nothing happens.
I don't see any charged item abilities called bashes... am I missing something?

Every time you get hit (I believe), the charged bash ability charges up - Once it is charged, you'll see a glowy thing below any artifact you might have and hitting b will use your charged bash ability as opposed to your regular bash.

In the case of Pious Robes, when using this ability, it will turn your opponent on it's allies for a limited amount of time.

Ok. That's a lot better.

Yeah, every time you block a hit, you get a point to the charge. You don't need to riposte, so you can use any weapon you want. Once you have it charged, just do a bash attack like you are breaking armor to preform the hit and add one to the Pious Robes counter. Every armor has a different counter to how many hits you need to block, and while most are a powerful stun in the end, you get things like Pious Robes that will brainwash an enemy for a short time, or the Dead King Scales that cause bleed damage to an enemy.

It's actually both - your bash ability is charged through either successfully defending an incoming attack or taking damage. It charges faster when you defend, mind you.
