What's at the end of 'The far north'
Hi. I've tried the card many time, and this one time i got lucky i got an 18 at the dice section, and then when you get to the weapon i failed and got a lame encounter instead of the huge success.

There is no fun to the card, it's super unfair. Without blessings you have less than half of a percent to get the 18 (three 6s on dices), and *then* you need to score a single card on a wheel.

The dice only would be fair, but the card wheel afterwards is just flat out ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I'd like to know what you get with the token. Spoil me, i don't care. I want to know if it's worth wasting my time further.

It's a sword. Not bad, not the best; ability freezes three enemies with lowest health and you gain 5 life if you kill a frozen enemy.

To win the card, pack in your Gambler ring and Grifter's Companion, plus try and gather as much food as possible prior. I failed this one twice on the wheel of all things.

I don't remember if you can walk away from it after revealing it then come back when you're ready, but if not, you can use the emperor challenge to always know when you are about to enter it so you can avoid it until you are ready, that is what I used. Use colbjorn for the extra dice as well as what TreasureCat said.

No you can't walk back and in Emperor you can't put brimstone cards in your deck.

I find this card too frustrating. I tried countless times but i can't complete it. It is really unfair. If I coud nake sure to get specific blessings it would be easier. But I never get the blessings that help with dice gambles.

On which map did you guys complete it?

I finished it in that map you meet with Estrela for the first time, the corrupted city. I did pray at the rock in the encounter and got the blessing that permits you not to die from starvation, which then i rolled the dices at least two hundred times to get the 18 (seriously there should never be any rolls over 16 in the game) and then i got lucky in the wheel.

It gives a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapon you will never use because it has a way too high fame requirement.

So yea totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ card.

Use The Tower. You can just keep reseting the map as long as you want and it will cycle back in your old cards, plus a lot of the Dealer encounters in that scenario can give you blessings and food.

I just got it as well, not nearly worth the effort it takes to get it, I was expecting a platinum at the very least of hoping for another brimstone weapon. Hopefully they buff it in a future update

Honestly i think it should be a weapon for the supply deck. Not something necesserally too strong but better than the fine sword. Like an additional damage and the freeze ability.

Because right now it's one of those weapons you'll never equip because it requires too much fame.

I mean, it is a brimstone card. It's supposed to be unfair. Put on Gambit equipment for the wheel if that's what's giving you trouble.

My advice: Play on Tower, add Grifter's Companion, get the Gambler's ring, and stack blessings until you get the dice one. Pick Malaclypse for your companion if you're really not feeling confident about the wheel. Also I believe there's another piece of equipment that slows the wheel too.

The key to beating the wheel gambit is to note how fast the cards are spinning and time when to stop it. The faster it's spinning, the more time it needs to slow down before stopping.

(This actually gives me a bit of an idea to float by Defiant, incidentally, if they're taking suggestions.)

I did it on Hierophant, had Colbjorn (the upgraded one), Harvest blade (weapon), Felvin's Favour (helmet), Grifter's Companion (ring) and Gambler's Banquet blessing. Yes, it is not easy to gather all the stuff altogether, but possible, i did it on a second run. Sword is not so potent thought lol.
