Tips and Tricks Thread
Ok, so in lieu of having a guide of handy tips and tricks, I decided to make a thread where we can share some of our own. Here is a few of mine:

First and most important tip, at least for me: Don't go for golds right away. I have a really bad habit of tryng to get the gold on a challenge before going to the next. THIS IS A BAD IDEA. Even on a Silver completion of a challenge, you get a ton of cards that can help with other things. If you are stuck, go for a few silvers to get better options, THEN go for the gold. Take your time.

Know your enemy: Just before combat starts, you can head into the inventory and inspect the enemy cards to se their abilities and whatnot. It's a somewhat hidden feature but allows you to check up on foes and what they can do at a glance.

Brimstone Cards: Brimstone cards are annoyingly hard, but in my experience they often unlock stuff that is worth the difficulty hike. If you want to unlock them, I'd say use the first run as a trial run, then build your deck around what you discovered the cards way of ruining your life is. Plus you need to beat 3 for the achivement anyway.

Lovers Achivement: Bring holy stuff. Holy stops the skeletons reviving. There is a holy mace one can get in one of the later challenges that will make your life MUCH easier here, and the holky purification bonb kills skeletons for good too. Any other skeleton based equipment you have is a bonus. Also, you only need to have him at 100% at the final battle, so don't worry about getting a hypothetical "Perfect run". (I'm pretty sure that keeping him at 100% for the entire event is impossible unless you get sucess on the kidnapped card every time anyway. Anyone know the chance of getting a 1 in 4 card 9 times in a row? legit curious) EDIT: ADDITIONAL TIP FROM USERS: stack your deck with cards that have curse opportunities. Get the Lone Wolf curse and it's impossible for you to lose as long as you go into the final fight with him at full health (and you don't die, of course.).

Heliophant Gold: Take every dialouge option. By the time you reach the end, you should have 10 clues which will go up to 11 when you enter the end card and get the "the assasin lies all the time. Duh" clue. Bring 90 gold and some dice equipment. If you want the acheivement, bring 290 gold at least. Goblin Town Platinum can help with that, and if you whale on ny gold goblins when you get the goblins encounter that helps too.

Justice Gold: Ok, so I see a lot of people having issues with this one. This one kinda requires stratergy, a bit of luck, and knowing your environment. Aside from the cards you put in, the envieronment is the EXACT same each time. It's unlikly you will get it first try therefore, but with those 3 things it's a lot easier. I'm pretty sure I did it inefficently so I won't post a full strat, but it's not kidding when they say presicion will win the day. if you want the best shot, you want as good a start as possible. Consider brigning either good Northener fighting stuff or gambit aid, specificaly precision aid. When in the start forest, get both crit scuesses for all 100 wood in 2 turns. Then head for stone and get a huge sucess. Then find and build the bridge so you have easy acess to wood. Then focus on defense, but, and this iis important, find time to reinforce the tunnel ASAP since you will need it clear later for marching on the village with no encounters.

Someone has been passing around a tip for an easy win for the Lovers achievement: stack your deck with cards that have curse opportunities. Get the Lone Wolf curse and it's impossible for you to lose as long as you go into the final fight with him at full health (and you don't die, of course.)

0.000381469% is the chance you would get 1 out of 4 cards correct 9 times in a row. 0.25 to the 9th power

For Justice you need to have both masks in your equipment deck. The one that slows down the pendulum and the one that highlights 1 bad card in red in the 4 card shuffle. And if you purchase both, always equip the right diadem before woodcutting/mining. Also bring the imperial armor that shuffles the 4 cards 1 fewer time.

if you have unlocked more cards, also include the three rings that 1) extend the size of the pendulum bar, 2) slow shuffle speed and 3) highlight a pain card in red
