The High Priestess- Why don't enough blessings spawn?

So essentially it's impossible to get the gold token on some runs because not enough blessings spawn. I succeeded in every single blessing challenge and explored every single tile and only 4 spawned. So I failed to get the gold token. How is that fair? If I failed one then I would understand but am I expected to try over and over in the hopes that 6 *might* spawn? And I'll only find out at the very end too, so it's not something that only takes 5 minutes. Can there at least be a guarantee of 6 spawning

I thought it was guaranteed? I was under the impression that the cards the dealer put in play were six blessing opportunities that were fixed to happen.

You can always come back. You will gain access to cards that will make getting six blessings incredibly trivial. But yes, it is possible to get it without coming back to it.

you have to dig the man out in the avalanche encounters so there is exactly 6 blessings available guarenteed not maybe. If you still cant get 6 from losing one or failing a challenge add the church donation card you get after getting the silver coin for high priestess in your deck so that you have 7 guarenteed instead of 6

Maybe it's just me, but I don't get why you would have a problem with having to replay these excellent quests to get those gold tokens. As you play the different quests you unlock new encounters that make no two run-throughs the same, and, as Rogar points out, make getting enough blessings easily possible. Why complain about a game having such replay value? I would not want Deviant Development to change this.

Don't forget to save the northerner with dig him out option after avalanche cards. With that he'll bless you.

Gold tokens are nice if obtained on the 1st run of the challenge . But then again you dont need to and some card tokens require multiple runs of a challenge to unlock them . I So yeah just come back to the challenge later once you''ve unlock more blessing cards if its too hard to get the gold token. This game really has a lot of replay value :).

I find it kind of annoying that the "Gold" ranking is tied behind random chance, couldn't they make the gold somehow combat related instead? Even if there are 6, I can't guarantee I'll choose "success" every time. (Bought it from gog)

yes you cant guarentee youll choose success everytime but they make the card shuffle game have actual physics to it so its still not random chance if you picked the fail card its your fault

To be fair though . The card shuffles will eventually get too ridiculous that following them seems impossible unless you have super senses lol. Though there are equipments and blessings to make it a lot easier its really just how lucky you are in getting them 1st before attempting any challenge that requires them since theres no point in getting a blessing for card shuffles after you have gone through the cards that needed it XD.

Yeah, was unaware that digging out the northerner got you a blessing. Which is irritating as I would have easily been able to get enough for that mission if I'd known that. Ah well, thanks for the information guys

There is of course a chance factor, but I found this one to not be that hard, succeeded in two runs.
I think the point of missions for gold is to put a coherent set of cards to succeed, in this case cards that would actually give a blessing and allow you to have more than the default ones you have on there.
Although of course, a little bit of luck is needed.

this is the kind of stuff that makes me hate this game.... I failed this quest (gold) 3 times already because I tried different combination of solutions but never the only one that seems to work.

Then again on this card there's only two solutions. I must admit I chose the keep weapon a bunch of times and then tried the second one

Sometimes you need more cards to complete a gold challenge. Play other levels or unlock card tokens. There are several blessing cards.
