SETTINGS: controller, graphics high, full screen mode

Before open PES 2017 have this in mind, you SHOULD go to settings.exe file because usually PES comes by default with graphics set to "low" and play in "window mode".

The settings.exe file is usually on C:/Program files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Pro Evolution Soccer 2017.

Also if you're using a laptop with a geforce card probably you'll need to go to the nvidia control panel and add this settings.exe file and PES2017.exe file to open always with NVIDIA high performance processor, in the case of PES2016 the game didn't recognize automatically most of laptop's geforce but when you did this it worked.
