Can't buy it on steam and the domain of the game is up for sale?
Recently got into the books and just found out about the game.

According to the news item it was posted on Dec 20, 2017 so, presumably, that was referring to April 2018. So....yeah.

you can get a steam key on g2a for less tha $2 at this point its your only option

To have a useless key for an unplayable game? Or at least it doesn’t appear to be functional, I assume due to constantly pinging dead servers and hanging until it times out.

Disabling network access for app.exe (the game’s executable) in your firewall settings, or actually taking your system offline, fixes the above issue so the game is at least playable in single-player if you have it.
