Company of Heroes - Legacy Edition

CoH runs flawlessly on Linux, btw
I am going through my Steam library and trying to run "non-linux" games, as far as one can, with lots of winetricks and WINE 1.6 + regedit & config or just command line trickery.

One of the easiest "non-Linux" games to run on Linux is Company of Heroes, of course.

Install Wine
run: wine coh.exe

... and you're good! I did a "perfomance test", running everything on highest settings, audio too, in 1080p and get 60fps. It runs in Fullscreen and - most importantly - the mouse controls are responsive (no lag).

This also applies for the Addons Opposing Fronts & Tales of Valor, since it's all the same game-engine.

SEGA (license owners now?) should ask a Linux guy to write them an installer, or just contact Steam & they could 'release' the 'official' Linux version of good old CoH for Steam's Linux page? New/Next/younger generations, can get access to it, this way, in the future?

Nice find! Now I'm getting even more value out of the latest Humble Bundle (https://www.humblebundle.com/company-of-heroes-10th-anniversary)
