COH asking for Game dics

I have purchase COH from Steam, now it wont let me play unless i put the dics in...I dont have the dics...adivce anyone??????????

i got in but when i quit and try to login again it's asking to insert the opposing fronts cd. man hope the fix this fast.

hi, I recently re bought coh through steam. I have a very old account where i registered cd keys for all previous games. But had no disc, so I bought it again thru steam. Anyway, when I click on the steam coh exe the game starts up then asks me for my tale or opposing fronts cds? I cant get the game started. Anyone know how to sort this?

so deleting all the dll files from the coh folder then verifying game cache seems to work, im not sure if it will just be a one off though. so when you quit out and restart it just asks for cd again...

Has anyone managed to find a solution?? i managaed an hour this morning, but once again its doing the same thing.

I think I have foundt a solution when COH ask for DVD or CD. Every time you play, COH log in to the relic server to verify that you have a legal copy. It add three files in a cache - that are located in: User/My documents/My games/Company of heros/cache. These are: Login cache, global cache and ping cache.

Now the problem occurs if you dont exit COH "the right way". IOne or more of the files get corrupted. If you experience problems "please insert disk", just delete those three files (or move to an other temp folder). When you start the game next time it will reinstall new "clean files". Then it works fne, at least for me. Please always use the Exit button when leaving COH, then the files will not be corrupt.

Deleting the three files solves the problem for me, but no matter how I exit the game it still throws up the same 'insert disc' error the next time I boot it up. I've exited the game in every way I can think of to see if it changes anything and it doesn't. Having to delete the three files every time I want to play CoH is starting to get a bit irritating.

Anyone know any other solutions?
