Relic account setup

Is it just me or is it really stupid to have to sign in to steam to then have to set up an account with Relic so i can sign in with relic just to play their game.

and to top it off the Relic account creation system is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. I already have an old account from when I first bought CoH but it won't recognise that so I have to recreate a new one but it doesn't like my details and just seems to want to make everything much harder than it needs to be.

Epic win on the usability front guys. Very smart. Well done. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

its madness, i just bought the humble bundle loaded it all up also the pre order release, now my machine says profile busy all the time and i cant play jack!!
ive tried everyone but as usual ive paid up and no help, THQ are taking forever to get back to me and relic and steam are no where to be seen now ive paid up .... very poor, im feeling conned.!

This game was created before Steamworks even existed, and was released in a time where most PC games are installed from DVDs. So lots of games have their own accounts systems.

You need to install Company Of Heroes (new steam version) from your library to play the game. Relic handed over the servers to steam. and you wont have to sign into another account again.

I have just spotted this and am annoyed to say that I got the new steam version of COH
no matter where I look to create and account to go online it want let me crate one or
even give a reason for an alternate site to go to.
