STAR WARS™: Rogue Squadron 3D

Ships Tier List
After beating the game with all gold medals I decided to do a tier list just for fun:

S Tier

X-Wing: Good rate of fire, Fast Mode, powerful seeking missiles when upgraded. A very solid choice on almost every level with no downsides.

A Tier

A-Wing: Good rate of fire, semi auto-aim that is useful when fighting ships, powerful seeking missiles when upgraded. A nice alternative to X-Wing on some levels, but it has no Fast Mode.

Naboo Starfighter: Very good rate of fire, has access to seeking missiles from start.

B Tier

V-Wing: Decent rate of fire, can shoot a lot of seeking missiles at once but the tracking is not very good, can speed up using thrusters. Not the best but also not the worst ship.

Speeder: Good rate of fire, mobility is kinda stiff but harder to crash, no special weapons but has harpoon. Its a mandatory ship on some levels because of AT-ATs, otherwise any other ship is better.

C Tier

Y-Wing: Decent rate of fire but harder to hit enemy ships because of straight aiming lasers, useless PEM like laser, bombs are very powerful and can kill you if too close, not as fast as other ships. Its a mandatory ship on levels that require destroying buildings, but an easy target to enemy ships and turrets, also IMO 20 bombs sometimes is not enough.

D Tier

Millenium Falcon: Good rate of fire, but has auto-aim which is very annoying sometimes, even more when multiple targets on screen, its size makes it easier to get shot and harder to maneuver, has seeking missiles. The only benefit of using this ship is having more missiles (15 instead of 8) compared to other ships. Its either a top D tier or bottom C tier.

TIE Fighter: Very good rate of fire, but no special weapons of any kind. Outclassed by any other ship.

T-16 Skyhopper: Only available on the racing level, bad lasers (that you cannot even use) and no specials.

I generally prefer the A-wing for its speed, but it's not so great when you have to fight AT-STs. V-wing is good for killing TIE swarms, and it's the only way to finish Calamari in a timely manner. Y-wing is good for smashing ground targets. Naboo is a cheat ship that's better than both the X-wing and A-wing at everything.

Millennium Falcon and TIE Interceptor are just kinda there for fun. You can complete missions with them but you probably won't do too great. Falcon is too slow and sluggish, and the TIE Interceptor is missile turret food.

The V-wing turbo firerate makes it OP, if it had harpoons it would make it SS tier no doubt.
Sadly there is not enough missions with it since we reach the end of the campaing once it unlocks.

The Naboo Starfighter is my favorite of them all, its so agile but not too OP. Missile dodging is very fun with it.
