Use this...

Just remember it's a 4:3 game so I recommend 1440x1080.

Thanks but unfortunately it doesn't work for me. I get error code 51 after patching it.

Use nGlide, it works for me, at least in 1920x1080 (I only tried this res.).

Well I'm using nGlide(since I use it for Operation Flashpoint:CWC) I also get the error code 51. That error code triggered when Avast was doing its DeepScan feature. I disabled it and added an exception to the installation folder. As a result... It still ended up as an error(code 51).

Edit: Whoops! I checked/reinstalled Nglide again and set the GPU of the RS Launcher to Voodoo(Glide/nGlide Wrapper). Then I changed the resolution to whatever meets my needs. Removed/undo the third party patch(which was mentioned by SniperJunkie) and it works flawlessly.

Maybe it's a stupid question but did You unpatch game after using fix (it worked for me cause I had also error 51 after applying fix) or did You try to reinstall Rogue Sqadron ?

Confirmed that the widescreen fix creates error but nGlide works at 1440x1080 and even allows Reshade1.1.0/SweetFX2.0 to work (dx9). If only there was a fix for camera zoom issue we would be all set.

I got it working, but it crashes after the 3dfx splash screen/Reshade working on dxd9, any help?

The 1440x1080 is a custom resolution that you may have to set up on your video card control panel before it works.

Ok so I just installed both the game and Nglide and I still don't have anything other than the default res.

Steps:
1. Installed game from steam
2. Installed nglide
3. Opened up RS launcher, Hardware Config, Change 3D Video Card, selected 'Voodoo Glide'
4. Entered game, see normal res. Quit
5. Made sure AMD custom resolution of 1440x1080 was created
6. Used RS patch for 1920x1080, 1440x1080. Get Error code 51

:(

The patch is not needed with nglide and will only corrupt the .exe file of Steam version. So validate your files so Steam can redownload the .exe and repeat your process without the patch. Also see Guides for more info.

Hi all,

Got this running at 1080p and its great. Should I be running at 1440? If so how do I get that resolution in DG as it is not an option. Many thanks
