It doesnt make a lot of sense really, in an age where every thing is a remake, remaster, imagining. etc etc. This would be free money for EA and Dice essentially. EA could allow Criterion to essentially use what they did in Battlefront 2 and I bet they could easily make several of the Rogue Squadron maps. I would imagine the Hoth map could easily be remade. They already have a Hoth map they made for Galatic Assault, those ATATs are on rails and advance anyway. They would just need to make there directional weapons like drones, throw in some ATSTs , and a few tie bombers (which they already have those great with SA). The hardest thing I think would be implementing the wire wrap around effect from the snow speeder. So Imagine a current Rogue Squadron, that has multiplayer, and other players are controlling the ATATs and ATSTs and Ties. Heck, if EA lets them use that same Frostbite engine, they even have the infrastructure already there for ground troops either player controllable individually or AI/ NPC.

I would think, that even if it just had three maps, Return Of The Jedi space, Hoth map, Episode 4 space (all like Star Wars arcade by Sega) with multiplayer it would be a classic for years. A cheap Steam release would be ideal....not no 70 dollars stuff.

Haha thanks, nobody I knew liked those games but me. On fightng games they would wear me out. BUT, none of them could beat me on speeder bike races.

There was a plan for the Wii, but it got cancelled. I doubt it will ever happen.
I got all of the rouge games, and they are classic... They need a resurrection, but then EA keeps releasing it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ series. :(
