Game doesn't respond to gamepad or Kboard & Mouse
It launches in windowed mode but doesn't respond to button presses of any kind. Any help please

No help ? it starts in windowed, jumps to full screen for the opening title and then back to windowed for the start screen and no input works, I've tried it on three different drives and all compatibility modes. I have no problems with any other games and I have many installed.
OK refund it is in 1 hr ! maybe try again next time it is on sale if there is a response. I really wanted to play this platformer.
EDIT - the odd thing is it closes with the red X
