Another Friday, another text update!

This time, it's a bit special. You may or may not know this, but pretty much all the texts available in the game up until now were written by our programmer, Aleksander.

These 10 new texts, however, come from Alphyna - the writer behind the Pathologic series.

Right now, these prompts are available in English and Russian, with more languages coming in the next few weeks.

Why are over 100 WPMs so common in the game? Cheaters at large?

My WPM in average is 64. Most times when I'm in second place. There's always some guy who has over a 100 WPM. Is it really THAT common for folks with 100 WPM? Edit: Alright, jeez. I get it guys you don't have to rub it in.

Localization for 49 Prompts Is Here

Small update for our European friends: we've just uploaded translations for 49 texts - 23 for Battle Royale and 26 for Knockdown.

Although many of these texts are cool, they won't help with the extreme heat we're having right now, since playing this game usually raises the temperature in the room. Sorry, that's the best pun I could come up with right now ːchuchelsmileː

The new translations will be available in the game the next time you start it.

New Feature: Leagues

Good competitive week! Today at 00:00 UTC, a new feature landed in Final Sentence - Leagues. With that, the very first league season has started.

Ok, so what are Leagues anyway, and how do they work?

After you play your first match during the week, you will join a league based on your previous league results. This week, all players will be assigned to League Z. In total, we have 10 league tiers from Z to A (we skip some letters). Each league is for a maximum of 30 people. After the first Z bucket is formed, we start forming another one. So at any moment there are multiple league instances of the same tier. Each tier has its own settings for promotion and relegation. On average, the top 10 players are promoted, the bottom 5 are relegated, and everyone in the middle stays in the same tier for the next season. The season resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC. At that moment, promotion/relegation is executed.
Inside the leagues, players are sorted by the EXP points they get at the end of each match based on their performance.

There are no bots in leagues! Only real human beings can participate.

A fun switch-up on the typing genre, but unfortunately, there isn't enough content to make me want to keep coming back like I would with other battle royale-style games. Also, the "Battle Royale" mode itself feels very empty with its 21-player count. Maybe other lobbies reach higher numbers, but during my 100% completion run, most—if not all—of my lobbies had a maximum of 21 players.

That said, there’s definitely a fun idea here. With more content, some extra balancing, and a bit more polish, this could become a great game.

I love typing gamse[X] and this one definitely challenges you pretty well!
My only gripe is that the sound effects of the clacking keybroad[X] is slower than my WPM and can be distracting as fk[X] ... oh no PLEASE N--*BANG*

Why are nonsensical paragraphs in Battle Royale so common?

I was expecting the typing race to be sentences like every other type racing game with normal literary sentences but instead we have paragraphs of binary, morse code and then dumb repeated word patterns like "zizi zaza". I dont get the fun in doing nonsensical typing. And if they were rare, yeah they wouldnt be that bad but Im getting back to back nonsensical paragraphs and its so annoying. It's weird since duel and knockout have clear language and literary structure that is natural to type but battle roy...
