Are arrows the only directional controls on Keyboard, or is WASD an option too?
Do you by chance use a gaming Keyboard? (They do better about using more than one key at a time- or are you saying the game prevents it completely?).
*I own another Pacman game that uses WASD and doesn't have an issue with multiple key presses. If this one doesn't allow either, I'll just pass on it.
What we do support that is better, is cached movement controls. If you are moving right and have an up path ahead, if you press up before the intersection (no matter how far away), the move will be cached, and PM will move up when he hits the intersection.
You can change your cached mover at any time.
I noticed you didn't touch the directional keys question, so I assume it's an Arrows-only game.
Like many right-handed QWERTY-board users, I don't purchase Arrows-only games.
No, we won't be adding multi-key press, sorry. As I mentioned, we feel cached movement is a better solution and works everywhere, for everyone, no matter what KB they have and what OS they are running.
It's just with games like this, you tend to go on reflexes, which already has me (not one of the youngsters of gaming) at a disadvantage. Anyhow, I appreciate your information. I'll stick with my other Pacman game.
