Arcade machine question
I built a cocktail style arcade machine, and was wanting to add this game to it. But, I have a few questions before doing so.

1. Arcade buttons and joysticks are wired to specific key presses (arrows, enter, space, ctrl). Can the controls in 256 be remapped?

2. Does this support portrait mode? I know the phone version does (which is great). My arcade machine is running windows at 1080x1920 (as opposed to 1920x1080).

Love this game on my phone, and it would make a great addition to my cocktail cabinet. If both answers above are yes, then this an instant buy for me.

Thanks!

No KB remapping, and no portrait mode on desktop/console version. Sorry.

While a few players here have shown interest in getting PM256 working in arcade cabinets, and we did add 2 players on 1 KB which might help facilitate that (not our primary reason for adding it), changing the game to support arcade cabinets is not on our radar.

Thanks for the reply.

What are the default keys? I am planning to add addition controls to the 'front' of my cabinet for horizonal games. Maybe I can still make something work out.

Great game. Maybe I'll just pick it up for my desktop system too.

In UI, WASD or Arrow keys navigate UI, Enter selects UI buttons.

In Gameplay,

In SP, WASD or Arrows control the player.

In MP, P1 is on WASD, P2 is on Arrows. P2 drops in/out of MP selection screen with CTRL

We show KB icons in appropriate places when it's not basic WASD & Enter

It's a work in progress, but it does work now. I don't know if it will every truly be finished :-O

Wish I had seen this post before I purchased it. I too, am interested in using this for my diy arcade machine.
