How to stop light leaking through walls!
Can someone tell me how to stop light leak through walls that are solid like this.

Caulk seems to fix it....somewhat,but not perfectly

Try caulk shadow or whatever it's called.

You can try the "shadowcaster textures" in the texture panel. Just draw a wall the same size as your wall and drag it out a little (towards the inside)

Ps. remeber to rebuild you lighting afterwards by clicking the flash icon ^^ :-)

nope doesent work it casts a show but doesent get rid of the leaking light

Maybe some light still gets through, but it's much better than the wall without it(see pic).
It's hard to find the right spot to put it in. Are you using only sunlight?

no im talking about a light not sunlight. the volumetric part of the ligfht is leaking through the wall not in a corner i mean like pull on through the whole wall

Ok, then you can to set the Entity Info for the source....you can control where the light starts and fades, etc...
There are instructions for it in the "docs_modtools folder.

Ok, on my test map I placed a wall behind my wall, wich stopped the volumetric sunlight.
- However, have you tried not using caulk at all. Can work, but the file size would be a fair bit bigger :-/ As well as, the memory load.
