'Could not find any map templates'

Hello,

I have downloaded the mod tools and verified the integrity, however everytime I click new map it says 'error could not find any map templates'. There is nothing under maps or mods and have been unable to do anything with it since I downloaded it!

I also went and downloaded some custom maps off the workshop to see if that would provide a template, but still nothing.

I managed to fix mine, i was running the mod launcher through a windows shortcut, but when i launched it through steam it loaded up that Cmd prompt msg and worked fine ... ? -_o_-?

The default templates are stored in: steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops III\rex

Did anyone find out how to get past this. I have the same issue too it says i dont have any map templates????

Open up tools in your steam library and hit the green button, then you can use the pinned icon on taskbar and such.
