After latest Windows 10 update, Jackpot Poker refuses to open
Game ran fine before the recent update but after would no longer launch. Been getting this error in Event Viewer:

Seems the problem is related to libcocos2d.dll. Already tried everything I could think of, verifying files through steam, disabling antivirus, checking for driver updates, even rerunning installers for the redistributables. Nothing worked. All my drivers are fully up to date so that's not the issue, and all the redistributables were already installed.

Did you try system restore (back before the update) then try to do the update again? Maybe the new update had a fault in it. Do you have you HD partitioned with a F drive? I see the Faulting application path is F:\Program Files... Never seen that on an error before.

There were no problems when it updated, it was a cumulative update so wouldn't be able to roll it back anyways. Nothing unusual with having F for a drive label, just happens to be the label I gave my second hard drive, I prefer to install programs to a seperate partition/hard drive than the OS. F drive is where the program is installed, and that wouldn't cause the issue anyways when it had no problem before the update.

Hi thanks for getting back to me. What version are you playing? We released a fix in version 4.9
Dracolair May 22, 2017 @ 4:12am
I checked the properties of the executable itself since the game won't open, and it said it was version 4.8. There has not been an update in Steam yet to make it 4.9
