Bugs? "guardian is still considered alive"

Hello there! Love the game, it's really cool to play it again after these years. :)

In the Cave of Whispers, when I kill the Bloated One, its chest considers the spider alive and doesn't want to open. I tried many games, killing it at various distances, nothing works.

Outside of the cave, there is a cage that behaves the same way than this chest: it stays closed even if I clear the whole area and keeps saying "guardian blabla".

I swa a vid on youtube of a guy killing the spider and having the chest, so I know it's not because I don't understand a riddle or something. To me, it really looks like a bug.

Any suggestion? Help?

Was just looking to see if a majestic chest "locked by guardian" in the labyrinth was caused by the minotaur boss because....although he lives, he's still pretty far from it xD.

Anyway, don't know about that particular chest. Have you tried just getting to nearest pool, exiting to main menu and returning? (sucks I know)

I don't remember this happening before trying the new beta. Are you playing the new public beta? So far it's great from what I can tell.

You know what, now that I think of it, I suspect something else interely. Sometimes, (and this was always a thing, just not frequent) items fall bellow the ground, and sometimes you see their name tag and still get them but its bizarre. Could be that a monster associated to the chest mispawned bellow the ground. Another load from the main menu should fix this as the spawns are refreshed.

I also just tried this for my mysterious mid labyrinth "majestic" chest since a pool was nearby and... lol, it wasn't supposed to be a majestic chest, it just became "ornamented" x´D.
