Invalid cd key

I have had this game before and decided to play it again, now I get this message?

Yah i have been having the same. i hadent played for a bit so i reinstaled the game i loads all the way to the main game menu and when i press play game it says invalid cd key.

It's a bit hard when you can't report the problem properly to steam, a bit of a bummer.

i same have problem when i want enter in game it is write that is not correct cd key??? titan quest crash and titan quest imortal throne write wrong cd key when i enter in game

I think they mean Ctrl. I believe the 'Control'-key is called STRG (short for Steuerung) in German

on windows server 2016 (windows 10)

I followed the above instructions and entered the key but am still getting the CD key error. Anyone figure that out?
