Invalide CD Key

Can anyone help. I have bought this game through steam and have installed it. But it keeps saying invalid key and i dont undertsnad why. It worked perfectly well on my other laptop. Can anyone help me out so i can fix this problem

Ya, it keesp saying the key is needed but it never gives tme the option of putting it in. Steam is of no hlep. they say contact the makers of the game but i can't seem to get hold of them either.

Ditto here. The CD key is given by Steam, but the game never asks for it,but won't play without it.

You need to play and finish the entire story on Titans quest Anniversery
which already supposedly includes the expansion. Which is pretty stupid cause you didn't have to clear the original TQ which was a choice but you needed TQ installed in order too play.

Hope this clears it up for you all.

Titan Quest Anniversary edition includes the expansion for Immortal Throne
you just have to clear the story in order to unlock and proceed too play Immortal Throne.

Steam sucks bady at explaining these things thus why i hate steam so much and i don't play the majority of my games on this horrid thing.

The following solution fix this problem:

1. Notice your CD Key from Immortal Throne
2. Open regedit under windows
3. Press STRG+F and enter TITAN QUEST - Press OK
4. You should find the Immortal Throne directory as follows:
Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\VirtualStore\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Iron Lore\Titan Quest Immortal Throne
5. If found you have to set a new entry:
Right Click with mouse -> New -> String
Name: CD Key
Type: REG_SZ
File: your CD Key

When you have set the String , close it and start Titan Quest Immortal Throne and everything works fine. :-)

Same problem.
I DONT WANNA HEAR ANNIVERSARY BLABLABLA.
I wanna play clean TQ+TQIT.

So it will be nice if someone from steam solve this.
I tried that registr change, didnt work :(


EDIT: I am just ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Named that registr wrong, registr change fix it so far. So thx mr sic

I confirm that this worked for me as well! Thank you!

Just creating the string "CD Key" under
"HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\VirtualStore\MACHINE\
SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Iron Lore\Titan Quest Immortal Throne"

and pasting the actual CD Key from the pop up when the game starts did it for my single player game.

Note: I had to run Titan Quest at least once before Immortal Throne would even install

So update :D
Its stop working, again invalid cd key, I try reset whole string, do all again, and nothing.
Can i contack steam somehow? Or any other advice?
