First of all that is not a developer who sent that email, It's a GM that works at the EU branch of Bandai Namco. A Developer would be someone from Dimps not Bamco. Fake emails from fake GMs are common place to large streamers. Just like how some people in Miami got a supposed email from the alleged PR team of Grand Theft Auto 6. Take it with a grain of salt.

I do like SLOplays better than Burcol. When it comes to delivering actual information about XV2 updates, i think he delivers it better.

Agree. It is said as well by burcol might be for future update of xenoverse 2 so nothing is comfirmed. I think everything is kinda weird, either way im gonna be happy i like xenoverse a lot. Either im gonna keep playing alone with some friends by modding my game to have all transf into one and more stuff or we getting xenoverse 3 at some point and im still happy. I dont think we gonna get any news till next year and we will still have to wait till release. As long nothing official comes out i wont bite + sometime people does respond but it aint necessarily true. we gonna see once it happens

Do we really need to go through the entire dbz franchise for a third time? I feel like 'milking' the current game is good enough. I mean look at Sims 4. They just keep making stuff for it because that's basically it. There's not really not more room for innovation that requires a literal entire sequel. Games don't need sequels as much anymore bc the leaps in innovation are so small. I mean even 2 was barely different from 1. I mean heck, 2 is basically just 1 with a bunch of patches.

A perfect comparison. That is exactly what it is and what XV3, if it ever comes out, will likely be. Heck, if Sims is any indication, it could be a visual upgrade, but and overall downgrade as stuff is ripped out and resold to us as DLC.

If nothing else, this is a definite situation where hype is a trick to try and sucker you. Better be cautiously optimistic at best and prepared to drop it in an instant if there's even a hint of them screwing it up somehow. Patience is a virtue and Fear of Missing Out is a deception. You can always buy it later long after, probably for sale, with any potential controversies having played out already to make the most informed buying decision.

The producer confirmed XV3 years ago in some update video, it was back when one of the DLC packs was going to be the "last one", but then they changed their minds; so xv3 has been in low priority development for years.
When is it coming? Who knows, but it is obviously coming

For the third time? They have been recycling the same story since Budokai 1 from 2002. So for you paying 8-10 bucks for a few reskin characters and 2 story missions that we already played in both Xenoverse 1 and 2 anyway every 8 mnths is better than just buying a brand new game that has all the missing characters, and story content? Xenoverse 2 came out only one and a half year after Xenoverse 1. Don't compare the two situations because it's completely different. Who said that Xenoverse 3 cannot be a huge improvement across the board after 8 years?
