That's only if you modded the game and did not set the save editor to read the data folder.
Other Super Souls that are in the game but not obtainable by players read as "Tee-Hee Sunglasses"
100% Correct, if you dont mod the game you dont have that issue, unless you make the correct changes.
For example, it doesn't have this issue with clothing items.
Try checking to see if you have a DLC that got unselected as thats one reason they will show up as unknown, also if you are using an older version of the save editor, lets say before a certain DLC was released that can also have an effect as to why its showing you unknown because it was made before those were added to the list of things in the save editor, even though your game has the DLC installed again its because its an older version. There was also an update for the save editor about a year and a half ago that fixed a similar issue because people were complaining that there was a giant list of unknowns in almost every category. So make sure you have the DLCs selected that you have and your save editor updated. If you have everything up to date but only have this issue with the super souls and not cloths from DLCs like you said, then you have something wrong with your game in general and i dont know how much we can help with that.
I have only have this issue of massive amounts of "unknown" and "Tee Hee" when modding, the same thing shows up in the super soul editor. Only thing is if you try to edit those or even look at them it will crash the program as the editor cant make sense of what they actually are.
Edit note - the only time youll have to make those changes to the save editor is if you are using a mod that isnt installed with the normal XV2 mod installer program. However doing so doesnt mean youll have to make those changes as the save editor is pretty good at picking those up as well.
All of my game's DLC is active and I have all of the DLC of the game.
I do also see a lot of "Hee Hee Sunglasses" super souls as well, but those are all ones that the game uses that aren't available to PCs or used with playable cast characters.
I have a similar issue with the super soul editor as well as it doesn't seem to have been able to read any new super souls with new DLC, though I haven't bothered to figure out why as I only really used it to clear up what certain super souls actually do and how some of them work.
So then you do mod or used to mod at one point while using it, because you can only use the super soul editor and have the changes take affect by modding (the XV2 patcher in your DBXV2 folder) otherwise it wont work. if you mod by having the XV2 patcher installed, even if you dont have mods installed, just having the XV2 patcher installed will result in the same issue.
For example, I thought "Stop trampling on Namek's peace!" might be useful for a male saiyan on raids (since most people select male saiyans and therefore are usually at least half of any raid or EM team) but I've literally never seen the SS activate so I could never tell if it was doing anything when I used it - regardless of where and how I tried to use it. The editor and numerous other sources say that it should but I haven't seen it and that bothers me.
Also vague and inconsistent descriptions make me unsure how certain damage bonuses apply or how they're activated and things of that nature so the editor was valuable to me just in clarifying the occasionally terrible descriptions.
I'll give it a shot and see if that works. If just having an uninstalled file floating around is causing problems, it seems like this should fix it. I'll comment again after I back up my save and post the results.
To be honest, I had my doubts, but it worked like a charm.
Apparently, even without actually using any files in there to install any mods, as long as they're there, they'll throw everything out of whack.
Thanks.
Glad it worked out for you, if you have any other modding questions feel free to ask.
Sure thing.
