Save editor

Ik this is old and a cheat for some or whatever, i wanna use save editor to get some raid exclusive stuff like that "my hobbies are reading and sports" super soul but every time i try to use the edited save, it just replaces it with the original one.

Obviously i saved the save (forgive the redundancy) i also turned off cloud sync, even tried to make changes while being disconnected from router but nothing seems to work

It saves the save file wherever that save was opened in the editor. So if you opened the save from your documents folder instead, that's where it will be. Did you make sure to overwrite the save manually just in case?

Another thing you can do is open the folder where your save file is being replaced (the usual path), keep it open then launch DBXV2, press Alt+Tab, then copy & paste your edited save to that folder as the game is still loading. I'd imagine that should solve your problem.

already tried, but nothing, do i need to do that all modding stuff for changes to apply? in the guides i've seen they don't mention anything about it but idk

Modding shouldn't be overwriting your saves, so I'm sure it's not that. The only other piece of advice I can give you is to keep the Steam cloud for saves on. Personally, when I turned it off for other games it would keep them from starting among other oddball behavior.
