SSJ3 Base hairs?
I've been seeing random players with different SSJ3 hairs for their base character. Is there a way for me to get that since they all seem to be different colors. I mean xenoverse doesn't have the best hairstyles so having something like that would be cool.

I think they are mods, I would have seen something about the Raditz/SS3 hair in the Festival of Universes ''Check Rewards'' page.

Cause it's not MODs, other players can't see texture replacers, they editing their saves to set a specific hair ID (that is normally not available in-game menus).
So it's a modified save file which is what MOD stands for.

Kinda funny it's so rampant now, or more modders are just in the lobby all at once. Honestly, the mod I'm most envious about. Saw one with Broly colored SS3 hair, and one with white.

Saw a COM controlled CaC (maybe 2 years ago) when I was grinding for Dragon Balls. It's a female CaC in Gogeta clothes with SS3 hair but SSGSS colored. Not really thinking much of it as I have Goku and Vegeta's SSGSS wigs, thinking I could get that blue SS3 "wig" as well. Turns out I couldn't:steamthumbsdown::steamsalty:

Is clear you just here to pick at straws, if you don't know what a mod is, I couldn't care less.

Feel free to go waste the time of someone else.

I'm sure the rest of the community is more intelligent to figure it out by themselves.
eh? You told me it's not a mod then explained how it was modded. Tell me why a save editor is not a mod tool when it's function is to modify variables in a file which is similar to what modders(the ones actually creating mods) do.
If you think you know what a mod is, clearly you do not. I'm sure you are quite intelligent enough to figure that out yourself.

Changing a configuration already available in game is not a MOD whasoever, you that don't seem intelligent at all to figure that out, so please stop wasting my time as already stated.

Same way save editing is not considered modding whasoever (it does not change nor add anything that isn't already part of the game).

Using SSJ3 hair is no different from changing the game from fullscreen to window mode, the developers use it on NPCs but you can set the IDs on player characters. Only someone with zero knowledge in creating mods, can claim such a thing is a mod.

But is okay, none of us expect any of you to have the intelligence to know that, there a reason you on that side, and I'm on my mine, you need to rely on others to do stuff for you, I don't.
If I make Saiyan or Frieza awoken skills usable on all races, is that not a mod? If I make Raditz bald and Nappa with a majestic SSJ3 rainbow glowing hair, is that not a mod? It doesn't have to add something new to the game to be considered a mod, For example Baldur's Gate 3 mods are often just things that let's you access inaccessible features of the game like NPC clothes, Racial Hairstyles, etc. Majority of mods out there are just edited existing files from the game. Ever wonder why you sometimes have to replace/overwrite a certain file when you install one?
The game doesn't let you use SSJ3 hair as a hairstyle option not even as a wig and for you to access it as such is certainly not the same as changing fullscreen to window mode because the game actually provides you the way to do that. If you honestly think that an edited save file is not a mod go check what mod stands for because it's not a word but an abbreviation and it basically has the same meaning as edited.
PS. I made some mods before while I was not good at it I do know how.

it would be funny (Frustrating for some) if the SS3 hair was just an unused asset the whole time that the devs just keep forgetting about, although people would have found it in the files by now or later if that is the case.

Its not that the number of ssj3 hair users has increased. Theyve been around for at least 4 years. What has changed is that the patch fixed an issue (maybe by accident) which made it to where equipping the wig made the whole cac invisible to other players while they were in multilobby.

I'll leave the distinction of whether or not they're mods to others to figure out. Bottom line is it's an ID swap done to the save file and the assets are part of the vanilla game. Hence why you see them despite not using it yourselves.

modding is editing the games file to either chane how something works or to add something on top of the games code then edit that code to make it work the save editor does not do that witch is why its not marked as a mod its called a save editor it simply allows u to get things alrdy in the games file with out having to grind for said items thats not a mod if anything save editor would be marked as a cheat tool to get what youwant
