cant play modded game after newest update?
keeps saying failed to apply patch, what do i have to do?

You have to wait for the Patcher to be updated, or play without mods.

Yep, happens every time DLC/Free Updates drop. All you can do is uninstall everything and wait for the Xenoverse 2 patcher to be updated. It'll take a few weeks, as the latest DLC has yet to drop and modders tend to wait until after big updates have settled to start updates. Also, bear in mind that modders do this stuff for free in their own spare time, and have their own lives outside of modding. Adding further complications is that Bandai intentionally makes a lot of file alterations in their updates so that mods break with each update. The modding community is a big part of why the online player base tends to be underpopulated.

You need to wait for t=the eternity patch, it can be tomorrow or in couple of weeks

no way to revert to an older version? i have so many mods installed i dont wanna go through that again lmao might as well wait for budokai 4 then

i was wondering the same thing because i remember reverting for i think 1.16

You revert to the previous patch, but if iirc its somewhat of a complicated process. But yes, it is possible.
