Dimps(hit) being at it's "best" -.- Heavily Disappointing...
no spikey SSJ
no saiyan tails
its been confirmed
And I was hoping they would put effort into detail this time around, what a sad day for DB Games...
The video is supposed to be sarcastic because people are making such a big fuss over it. It does bug me a bit that the hair doesn't spike but it's not a deal breaker for me.
I have a degree in computer science and I do agree that it's easy. They already change the hair in SSJ3. Just take the same code and apply it to SSJ1/2. The only work they'll have to do is create a SSJ variant for each and every hair option in the game, maybe that's why they're reluctant. I doubt they'd give us a single SSJ hair that's the same for everyone so the hair not spiking is middle ground, I guess.
They wouldn't even have to create SSJ hair for every Hair Style. Just give us the ability to choose a Hairstyle out of the already existing one's. That's what I was trying to say.
And the big fuss is rooted into the very first SSJ we ever saw: Goku Going SSJ
That is IMO the root of why there is a fuss about it.
It is the most epic moment in the whole Saga.
To be fair, Tenkaichi 3 treated each transformation as a different character (you could start as an SSJ2) and just had an animation to "switch" between then when you transform.
You could say the budokai series got it right.
The thing is, they would have to create/design a new SSJ1/2 hairstyle for each hairstyle in the game. Letting us choose would mean they have to implement a new screen for transformation customization and players will start asking for a Frieza transformation that is completely customizable (while I was writing that I just thought: "Why not? That would actually be awesome!") and would create inconsistencies such as having two hairstyles that have nothing to do with each other when transforming.
Anime fans are the majority stockholder that purchase these games, so yes its little things like this that can make and break some sales believe it or not, not everyone is as closed minded by the aesthetic's in the game.
