So is Future Trunks from Super only available for the Deluxe Edition?

Or do we just get access to him earlier if we buy the Deluxe Edition? Don't want to have to deal with having an empty slot in my roster if I don't preorder, like with Xenoverse.

There's no preorder exclusive characters this time around.

But Super Trunks is lame so you wouldn't be missing much, Time Patrol Trunks is all you need~

Isn't Goku Black preorder exclusive? He's the Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta equivalent seems like.

Future Trunks from Super is specifically labeled "early access". Goku Black is not.

are no exclusives this time around, outside of cosmetic log you get for pre-ordering, both pre-orders are simply early access to characters that will be DLC later. You arent even getting there missions or quests that go with them, just the character.

Future Trunks from Super is immediate access with the Deluxe Edition. He is in the base game. You will just have to unlock the character by playing the game.

hey bonus points in xeno trunks (aka time patroller trunks) favor: a version of gt goten joins the time patrol, becoming xeno goten. he and xeno trunks fuse.

I remember hearing about that, was about damn time we actually got a grown up design of Gotenks, one of the biggest sins of GT was not even showing him once.

Would be cool if this 'Xeno Goten' made the jump from Dragonball Heroes to the Xenoverse games, and thus in turn bring an adult Gotenks to them as well.

Would have to be noted in-story that their circumstances are different than that of the 'present' Trunks and Goten friendship of course, what with Goten never existing in the Dark Future Android period and this version would have had to have come from another timeline or something to join the Time-Patrol.
