EM 20: Harbinger of Doom, the Definition of Anti-Fun
Rewards for Harbinger of Doom are entirely lackluster and the amount of effort needed to achieve the ultimate finish is like trying to break a cinder block with your bare hand.

The AI has so much health and so much damage reduction that no amount of specialization can bring them down within a reasonable amount of time.

I'm sure others have done it solo after hours of trial and error, but I can't imagine why.

I tried with my level 98 ki blast frieza race, having farmed dragon balls to reach that point, thinking I'd have a chance, but I found no noticeable difference in damage between level 85 and 98 against these enemies.

Even if I beat it, I know beating it won't be fun. I'll be spamming ki blasts for many minutes just to whittle down one bar of health after another hoping the enemy dies in under three minutes just so I've enough time left on the timer to complete it at all let alone manage the ultimate finish.

This mission makes 15, Extreme Malice, look easy by comparison just to give you an idea behind how ridiculous it really is.

This is a prime example of fake difficulty. AI overloaded with defenses so that they can survive an onslaught of attacks for minutes while having a countdown on their side so that even if any number of their overpowered attacks don't defeat the player, the timer reaching zero will render the player's efforts entirely wasted.

Have you beaten it? If so, can you honestly tell me it was fun? Because I cannot imagine this mission being fun at all. Extreme Malice certainly wasn't fun, I only beat that one to unlock the expert missions needed for the rewards I wanted.

I've beaten it multiple times as a basic attacker with the help of strike skills and drain field. Victory rusj and fullnpower blast volley both track reliably by exploiting knockaway...

This is from the first time I beat it... though since then i replaced destructo disk with gigantic omega in order to set up my combos.

Only part i dislike is buuhan and beyond... if you end up soloing them for any reason... it gets very difficult thank to their stamina draing attacks

I've beaten this, but I have to agree with the OP: it wasn't fun. Had to resort to a special super saiyan blasty build involving Big Bang Kamehameha spam and while effective, it was boring and, well, limited to saiyans. Even as someone who likes saiyans and has a number of saiyan characters, I didn't like this limitation.

This is a challenge that definitely falls under the catagory of "toss it aside and never do again after you clear it."

Only Extreme Malice is worse. This might be boring, but Extreme Malice is downright frustrating and still not entertaining.

The boring part isnt really the type of build you have to use... so much as youre limited on skill options since efficiency in damage is a huge component in beating these.

I beat the mission will striker, ki blaster, and mixed builds and found that mixing all three (basic/strike/ki blasts) was the most effective strategy... but the number of skills that work together AND account for the raid boss passives is pretty limited... and to use some of them effectively you have to be somewhat experienced.

That limited skill pool tends to make the two missions kinda boring

There are different ways to beat it.
Still, the huge amount of HP and defense can make re-running it really boring.

I just tested this mission again, because I honestly didn't remember having any trouble with it.
Beat it effortlessly solo with divine wrath purification.
Tried some other skills to see how they stack up.

Gigantic omega, AI is unable to dodge this cause of the fast multi hits, guaranteed to get a combo afterwards.
Blaster shell, AI is unable to dodge this
Death beam, AI is unable to dodge this.
Kaioken assault, AI is unable to dodge and if you land the full thing it does great damage.
Evil flame, AI is unable to dodge this and works great with kaioken assault.
Meteor crash, this just destroys AI.

Divine wrath purification, if it only slightly touches the AI, they are going to eat full damage.
Death meteor, great tracking and you're pretty much invincible during it.
Death Ball, great tracking.
Psychic move, this thing just says ♥♥♥♥ you to their AOE attacks.

my CaC is only lvl 90 and it's fairly easy.

If you can't do it with your CaC try picking freeza or broly, or anyone with meteor crash and maximum charge.

So I'm the only one that takes Innocence Bullet into every Expert Mission which does not feature an Oozaru?

Innocence Bullet, Giant Storm, and Sudden Storm always serve me well.

It's not really needed in most of the missions unless your total damage output is low either due to level stats or otherwise. Now for 18 through 20 i would say yes... its a huge asset if only because if reaps havoc on the AI super armor. And its guarenteed health depletion on dabura's diamond armor... but most others I prefer emperors edge or similar since it penetrates marbling drop for free damage while the AI i locked in it
