Cant get z ranks

i dont understand why I need to get Z ranks on ALL of the advancement tests to get potential unlock, all the requirements are reasonable, except beating it in 3 minutes, it's too hard and stressful. Anyone know how I can get Z ranks without the 3 minutes or less thing? Please? Cause this is just ridiculous

Are you using the super soul "40 Ton Weights!" I think that could help.

I don't know about "advancement tests" but universally you can get a skill drop at even C.
It works like this Z-80%chance, S-70-60% etc.
You can for example get 15 Z 's in a row and not get the skill, get a C and have it drop.

40 ton weights CAN help but they just double the EXP, they might be helping the score.

Again, I never had trouble getting Z ranks in Tutorial and etc. but you could get a skill drop on S or lower.

No you have to get a Z rank in all 5 of the advancement tests to UNLOCK the mission that drops the skill

Well to get a Z its pretty straight forward. The problem is its easy to get an S, sometimes S to Z is pure luck.

But here is some solid advice for higher rating.
Make sure you:
-Grab at least twice during the fight.
-2-3 stamina breaks on enemy.
-2-3 combo variations
-You must be transformed most of the fight.
- Use 2 different Ultimate attacks during the fight and have them hit.
- You WILL get a bonus if you manage to usr your Ultimate attack 5 times during the fight.
-NEVER use recovery capsules or accept KI/Health recovery from anybody it will drop your score one letter
- You MUST Ultimate Finish WHILE Transformed.
(Optional:
-If you can JUST guard it will add nice bonus
-If you can Vanish by pressing at the right time it will add nice bonus)

- Grab Enemy 3x
- Get Combo over 20
- Get at least 20 (not 10 as meantioned ealier) hits with Basic-Ki Blast
(If you have Z-Soul with Sprint-Ki Blast do a full Light-Attack-Combo and charge the Ki-Blast during the last Attack-animation to unleash 10-20 Ki Blasts, that way you get both)
- stay above 80% HP (doesn't matter if with capsules or not)
- Hit with at least 80% of your attacks
- Hit with 10 Super Attacks
- Finish while Transformed ( last seconds is enough)
- Hit with 5 Ultimates
- Kill last Enemy with Ultimate

should be enough for Z-Rank

Actually, not at all. The only thing you need is to get the super soul "40 tons weights", be transformed, and use a capsule to regen full health at the end. That will get you a z.

The soul is given by a npc on the tower above the reception after you have completed the story, dlc not included.

Wrong, it does improve your score, because the ranks you get depends on how many points you get. The super soul increase the points, so it increase the rank. Meaning that if you usually get a A or a S, you'll get a Z by doing the same things with the super soul equiped.

Did you ever used it ? Because you clearly don't know how it works. The soul works for me to get the z ranks on the exams I needed when I could only reach S without it equiped. So instead of just deny everything I say, let him try my way, or give him another one that works for sure, because last I noticed, you weren't the one that needed to get that z rank.
