A full outfit set > QQ bang
Instead of applying stats to every piece of clothing, the QQ bang gives +5 max. Bamco is freaking stupid.

Yeah no. This is way better then the last game, I can just set up the plus 5 to the stats I want and not be forced to wear crap I don't want.

It's objectively inferior to a full set. You're basically gimping yourself when you shouldn't have to. They should just have a proper glamour system.

except I don't care about gimping myself a little in favor of being able to wear whatever the hell I want.

Good for you. That doesn't change the fact that full sets are objectively better.

Isn't it a bit early to assume that? or do you have sources/ experienced this urself, like to test full clothing set vs qq bang in the new training mode and see the results.

I'm positive the OP is overreacting. I've heard that the QQ Bang can provide +20 stats, effectively being the equivalent of a full rank 5 costume. Considering the QQ Bang was implemented for the very fact of allowing players to wear what they want, it would be a little silly to have a slot for stats that would always be worse than actual full sets of gear.

Rhymestyle confirmed it in the comment section of the video Goku Black posted. Knowing Bamco, it is indeed the case.

The way i understood it is that, you can " mix " gear into the QQ bang in order to get better gear. Its probably not as simple as just " putting " the very first QQ bang on you find, you probably ahve to GET really good gear in order to use QQ bang properly. The way its intended is to be better if you read the description in game it literally says you can get QQ bang even better then the gear you can find, i'll wait till we get a definitive answer, but hell i beat the first game wearing ♥♥♥♥ gear i'm sure i can manage in this to.

Even ignoring whether or not a QQ Bang item can give us +5 or +20... Is the OP just ignoring the fact that QQ Bangs can apparently avoid stat penalties?

With so many outfits having their stats shuffled or given new penalties they didn't have before (one of my preffered outfits is now -Ki when it wasn't before, for example), you can't just ignore the benefits of not having any penalties.

QQ Bangs give you stat penalties, if they're higher leveled. For example, I saw a QQ bang that gave +5 to Ki, Basics, and Ki Specials, but -5 to Health, Stamina, and Strike Specials.
QQBang is better considdering the fact that if you get the right items you can have +5 to all stats and not have any negative stat reductions. Yea, a crappy QQBang in the beginning is trash maybe but a QQBang that has been crafted end game (or even late game) will be better then a full set of cloths that has negative stat reductions.

Well, that's less fortunate. But I expect I'll be using QQ Bangs a lot anyways considering I'd much rather avoid Negative Ki or Negative stamina penalties, without going crazy trying to find stuff without said penalties that also give me what I want.

EDIT:

Ah, so it can be done. It's just a grind to make QQ Bangs objectivly better than clothing. Makes sense, otherwise clothing stats would be fairly meaningless to anyone not wanting to use QQs.

Actually, XenoKai, QQ bangs work off of the base stats of the two items you put together, plus a random set of stats attributed to the extra item (For example, a large mixing capsule.) There is no perfect set of clothing, and there isn't an item you can add to add +10 to anything, or at least it hasn't been discovered thus far.

With what's been presented, a QQ bang which gives +5 to all stats is impossible.

yea just watched Rhymes video, funny thing is, your stats wont matter in "Limited Mode" which is what everyone is going to be playing for the most part. PQs shouldn't be hard if you know what you are doing. Yes QQBang is indeed 10 different kinds of stupid. Would be funny though if Rhyme misinformed us and did not pay attention to the stat graph when making his statement.
