If you don't have a chracter you can make a new one or just choose one of the pre-made characters, if you choose a pre-made one you don't get anything.
Just to mention you don't play as the transfered character, they will show up in the story but you can't use them.
Requierments-You Must (and I repeat MUST) Complete "Story Mode"
You may Transfer ONE CHARACTER ONLY
The Character you Transfer WILL NOT BE PLAYABLE
What you will gain from character transfer:
4 x Super Moves
2 x Ultimates
1 x Escape
1 x Body Costume
1 x Pants Costume
1 x Hands Costume
1 x Feet Costume
No Accessories
No Z-Soul
You cannot transfer any Transformation Skills: Super Saiyan, Super Vegeta, Kaioken, Potential Unlock. You Cannot Transfer any skills related to Bardock or Whis. You cannot
If your character has any of the above skills during transfer, they will be removed and compensated with Zenny and Medals.
Yes, you can transfer the crystal and gold suits.
Who you import from the previous game, will get a sweet statue and show up in cutscenes (Fairly ASAP) as "That super cool guy who did all the super cool things in Xenoverse 1". If you don't import, it's generic trailer man.
At this poine people are uncertain if you will see them show up in battle and use the moves you gave them. But, the stuff that is allowed to transfer directly equipped on your Xenoverse 1 guy, will be shoved into your inventory for you to equip once you get the chance to access the menu after the tutorial.
PS: IMPORT MAX CHARGE. HOLY **** IMPORT MAX CHARGE. It's easy to take for granted, but that thing didn't unlock until postgame in xeno 1. And with how many moves have had their ki costs increased, you may want it more than you did before. Or just not want to slum it with the bad early game versions of charge.
Also, clothing stats have been drastically shuffled and/or nerfed. So import clothes for your favorite fashion.
The new QQ Bang items are a craftable special accesory that will entirely override clothing stats. So for example, they changed the Pilot suit to now have negative Ki. But if I equip a QQ Bang, it will use the stats on that instead of my clothing (And I still get to dress up like a power rangers regect)
Yeah, it is a given that anything that could have transferred will be availible at some point in Xeno 2.
And remember, people are not importing entire inventories of skill lists. They are only importing the few they could directly equip upon the guy they are importing.
So it is more "A bunch of people already have their favorite oversized x 360 no scope big bang kahameha" rather than people importing dozens of moves.
Xeno 2 overall is looking to be shaping up to be vastly improved overall, so you should have a good time even without an import.
You should in theory be able to transfer, all XV2 needs is to locate your save file.
Honestly, I wouldn't delete the character. Particuarly considering you import by way of selecting a character. Clearing the main plot is also a requirement, though given that is a "total progress" situation, so long as you have beaten the main plot you may be able to import whoever you have made.
The only reason to delete characters in Xenoverse is if you have already used up all the character slots but want to make someone different.
I likely won't be able to respond in quite some time but I am very curious why the interest in deleting a character, if you still want to import. Because that's pretty counterintuitive.
You could have an underlying Xenoverse 1 save data with literally every move and every piece of equipment unlocked. But that will mean **** all to Xenoverse 2, if you don't have a relevant character to function as the basis of the import. (And not like you import your whole moves list, just the moves on said character)
The import menu makes you select a character, after all.
I liked the Z-Soul Bwahaha Got You! - Does it still work the same way?
You get hit and become Ki for it? I want an Overall Good Z-Soul for Ki and or Stamina, but it's such a long time since I played last :/
I suspect if it is indeed a mixed bag, Saiyaman Helmets will not carry over (There's a whole sidequest group deal for the "Saiyaman patrol" or somesuch, so if they are selectivly allowing accesories that's probbaly gonna be gated as sidequest prizes).
because the main character i used to complete the game i deleted....because i ran out of spots and didnt think i would need him anymore since i had all i wanted
Yet, even though I made sure I had the cloud enabled, and even signed into XV1 and exited out to save- my guy didn't show up.
For the sake of moving on since it is required, I just picked someone. Problem is now, I can't just simply delete the game files. I play on my brother's gaming rig, and deleting local content would likely risk deleting his as well.
Please tell me there is a way to safely reimburse this? I've got a lvl 98 and would love to carry him and his stuff over!
