Hell, I spam Super Vanishing Ball for quick clears.
Maybe it's just one weird rando.
If the fight ends and you win, does it matter if you could have done it a little faster?
I think it's similar to the same reason people often pick UI Goku. They think it's a win button.
Auto dodge and bonus damage? How can i loose?
EDB throws all my ki, locks them in place, and does tons of damage? Why do anything else?
Then there's the people that pick the villainous mode character in PVP because of the charge skill and they don't realize that it's really easy to bypass and they have no limit break.
I don't get it, personally (it seems boring to me to just charge, EDB, repeat - same reason why I don't tolerate doing doing raids for very long), but when you're not really interesting in putting effort into the game, you just kind of get stuck in a beginner's mentality. I guess. It's easy, beginner friendly, and effective for what it does. If someone weren't skilled enough to, say, beat a PQ mission any other way (and not interesting in experimentation or... well... trying), I can see why someone would resort to this tactic. That said, I tend to agree.
For PQs and EMs, though, I agree. People are kind of brainless and don't realize that not only is EDB/Ultimate Charge inefficient and sometimes not workable, it's also not fun. I -guess- you can take two Zamasus into 122 with you and spam EDB, but it's really faster, easier, and more entertaining to play it solo and fight the enemies one by one.
They then complain when they get stamina broken while spamming ults in PQ's.
This is about what I do as well after getting my 100k minimum. I have my namekian with the flute/soul combo, a human male set up with the Hmm Hmm soul that I use. It honestly is much more fun for me than just spamming whatever super or ult that has the best DPS for that particular enemy.
Especially important for expert missions where healing items are unavailable and usually what I do whenever I help in a group with more than one other human player (other than myself).
