Gurus House. Why Mandatory?
Why, out of all the big time rifts, is THIS mandatory?
'If you ignore the mission, Gurus house will take damage!'

Because players just LOVE being told what they can and cannot do in a game they bought, or ripped away from what they are doing at random, the devs made this a thing.
Knock everyone out and spend 2 minutes quietly collecting the dragonballs!

This is NOT FUN the tenth time his house comes under attack and I am doing Protect The Dragonballs Part 2..AGAIN!

I know what one of the rewards is, being a Namek, and what another is down the line for any class.

But WHY do we HAVE to do it or get punished!?

I don't HAVE to talk to Sayaman, or Hercule, or Frezia, or Buu or get punished.

So whya re these boring missions mandatory?

Honestly? It's worth doing, i'll post the rewards as a spoiler, so read them if you want.

so the first time you complete his quests, you meet guru, he will unlock your potential and that allows you to put 125 attribute points in a stat, instead of the normal 100 or so, the 2nd time you are visiting him, he will reward you with a time egg, now, there are 4 more time eggs, each at the end of the questline for a faction ( guru, buu, freeza, capsule corp and hercule's house ), by getting all 5 of them will unlock 2 more story arcs, which will give you ssj 3 bardock and some other stuff.

Besides, its not taking that long, already completed all 5 factions in 1 night worth of playing.

I finished 2 cycles then ignored it completely. Game prompted that the "house is more dangerous now". I went there just to see if anything changed and don't see anything different.

Thank you, I got the first reward but did not know of the rest.

I just don't think it should be freaking mandatory. It should sit and wait llike any other quest.

It's not mandatory at all. You just get better rewards the more intact the place is. Guru never dies and the event never disappears permanently.
