Half-arsed Human 'transformation'
Why I will never buy this game unless they actually add sensible Human transformations...

I think they have the Namekian transformation down perfectly, so they have done well in that area.

To grasp the content of my argument you will have seen Dragonball...

They missed out on some incredible transformations for humans, Tien has demonstrated plenty of potential transformations for humans. Even if you didn't want to choose a Tien transformation, at least give the player the ♥♥♥♥ing chance to do some 'unleash potential' type buff where the character is physically stronger or some sort of meditation transformation where they are glowing or have a third eye or something along those lines.

Four Witches technique: A perfect transformation for melee-orientated players, Tiens technique spawns an additional 2 arms, that increases speed, attack power and most of all looks bad ♥♥♥, look it up on Youtube.

For blast characters, the user could force Ki into blasts at the expense of quick use, and extended use or prolonged use would damage health, think of Neo Tri-beam but with a more practical use. Straying from Kaio-ken because this transformation would be used in a 'trap' strategy, where the player would lure the enemy into a overwhelming one-off blast.

To conclude, I personally think the Nimbus transformation only seeks to complement the fast-paced fighting style of the game rather than actually add 'cool' factor.

There will obviously be some die-hard Saiyan noobs whom I fought a lot online who liked to spam the God of Destruction blast who will probably disagree with me.

Anyways, any thoughts will be received and taken in.

I don't know how the nimbus+cloud is lazy or bad considering its actually impressive and unique, if you don't like it you literally have Kaioken and Unleash Potential to use.

It's lazy because there's really 3 other things they could have done. Four Witches technique (Tien's 4 arm thing from DB). Majin Mind Control (man has evil within his heart type of reasoning). Buff Up (Master Roshi's ability he uses when he fights vs Frieza's men in Resurrection no F).

I mean... the options were there. They chose to take the easy way out.
I don't think you know what the easy way out means, they literally programmed and designed a pretty NICE looking Nimbus on top of making up completely new combos for the player, that's far from the easy way out. The easy way out would literally be giving the player more muscles and a few more stats up or a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ M on his head and call it a day, four witches is arguable depending on how its done.

I really don't want to get into this, buuuuttttt...... I think he's right that Nimbus was "easier" to implement. We don't have sliders for height or weight. Just preset sizes. And we say how badly XV1 handled realtime body transformations. And that their game engine doesn't seem to care for them. While I would love to have Roshi's Buff uP! ability, I think a real-time TF like that would have been a lot harder to do than Nimbus.

It really wouldn't be, because they wouldn't have have to animate something new and give it unique flight patterns as well as a new moveset, in the grand scale of things they wouldn't make you as buff as Roshi, it would be a muscle gain but not too much, its okay to not like it but you can't say it's half-assed you know?
Besides, it would be similar to Pure Majin except instead of turning into kid buu you would turn into a specific body type regardless of your previous weight.

Yes but there's only ONE NIMBUS and ONE POWERPOLE in DBZ lore. So, they cloned it and mass-produced it? Sorry but the transformation is kinda sad. Human characters aren't even interesting with that. "Oh look, a 0-ki transformation with Super Armor (which makes no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense) and a power pole! I'm so cool hurrdurr!"

Four Witches could have been something awesome.

Same goes for the Majin Purification. I know they're bringing up "lore friendliness" as a reason, but it's a pathetic reason. If I wanted to play Kid Buu... I'd play KID BUU. They could have made a "Sadistic Mode" or a "Berserk" transformation or something, like with Super Buu when he gets angry and glows and gets all veiny before he blows himself up fighting Gohan. Except keep that as the Majin Transformation, as such that they deal more damage the more damage they take, and they take increased damage as a result of their lack of care for self-preservation, which then cuts out at 25% health or something. I dunno. Spitballing here.

Anyway, point is these transformations are sad and uninteresting. SS3, FSS and even Kaioken are far more entertaining and interesting options. Giant Namek form? Epic. Golden form? Epic. Both of those bring so much to the table with new and interesting concepts.

Nimbus and Power Pole? Your characters can friggin FLY! WHY would they need a nimbus?! Or the power pole for that matter!?! They can bench-press moons for goodness sake! A power pole shouldn't make a difference. So no. I call it lazy, not interesting.

Human transformation is amazing...what are you on about? Cloud and nimbus, while rather "Meh" is actually really strong. You can block ulti's with the transformation. It cannot be stamina broken. You can attack while guarding. You have attacks while rushing. You can back attack from like 50 ft away. You can rush attack into multiple combos...What is so bad about it?
not to mention the 360 pole spin that can hit a large group if your surrounded giveing a chance to reposition or to counter vanishes

So the Human Meta is just reskinned with a cloud and a stick. Bravo DIMPS. You failed at making things interesting again.

Theres multiple nimbus, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Tao had a black nimbus, power pole was never stated to be unique but that doesn't matter because Gohan is the one who gives it to you anyways and because of time ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it just works.
Like I said, you can not like it but that doesn't make it lazy, pure majin sure whatever.

Oh that's funny... so because there's a Light cloud and a Dark cloud there must be hundreds of them... the logic is astounding...

While I strongly disagree with you not buying the game I do understand what you're saying.

No Dragonball game has ever been perfect so there is always room for improvement,

I miss Zarbon's transformation,
Frieza's missing transformations
Etc.....

Yet I love the game to bits.

Just have to be happy with what we have or be happy with not playing.
We can't have it both ways.

I've watched all of Dragonball, all of DBZ and what's available of Super.

You're going to nitpick because I don't remember what I watched when I was 12? 18 years later, I don't care about the small details of Dragon Ball. What I do remember is that Goku gets ONE replacement Nimbus. ONE. That is it. I remember that Tao also LOSES his and ends up using a friggin TREE to fly off into wherever every time he leaves an area.

You wanna pride yourself on remembering a detail that makes little to no difference, you're welcome to. But if there were enough Nimbus clouds to go around, Goten would have one, Trunks would have one, Goku would have one and Gohan would have the Nimbus that Goku gave him.

Yet, that hasn't happened has it?

Goten might not be able to use a Nimbus. His mind might be getting too dirty

So I stand corrected. There's a giant nimbus that I neglected to remember after 18... years... If you're going to go that far to be a massive @$$hole, then explain the mass-produced power poles? Last I remember, that was unique.

I'm not embarrassed in the least about not remembering something after 18 years. If you think it makes you better than everyone else, you're a pretty conceited PoS aren'tcha?
