Xenoverse 2 Save Editor???
I messed up real bad and was poking around a trainer for my character. I didn't plan on doing any online with the mods, just a PQ that I couldn't beat. I put on infinite health, ki, etc, then I tried infinite attributes. I guess the server noticed I had way to many attributes over the max and banned my character from any form of multiplayer. I was wondering if it is even possible to lower my attributes back down to the original number I had it at or if I just need to make a new charcter?

played quite a bit actually, XV1 had no anti-cheat when it launched, was introduced later to no avail. Just hoping they were smarter this time.

lol no. It was always there.

There's an anticheat on this game? Really?

There's always been one since X1. It only detects if you either have A) too many skill points for your level or B) not enough XP to legitimately have the skill points you have.

It only locks out online play and only for the character that got flagged. If you have 8 characters and used trainers or hex edit to cheat and give yourself too many skill points and/or not enough XP to have them, then only that character gets flagged. Your other 7 aren't touched.

I believe if you turn off your internet for a bit and load the game, it will allow you to join the city as normal, and from there you can use Cheat Engine to change your character's stats to a "legit" range.

He can play offline mode with it. He doesn't need to do that at all.

I don't care, he was looking for an answer, I gave the answer I had, that's as far as it goes for me.

As with Xenoverse if a character has more status points or un-obtainable moves equiped that chcarartcer will be banned from entering mutilplayer at all.

You can use still use another character online, it does not ban your account, just character. Which can still be played offline.

Using infinates (health/ki/stamina) online missions/battles does not work becuase your status are server side in these missions (and cheat engine as a strickly single player policy, so reputable dev never make mutilplayer cheats). Offline missions/battles using infinates is fine even when online and won't get you banned.

DBX: Use shenron to reset all attribs, then edit the attrib points back down to correct value.

What a cancerous community. This kid is here asking for help and you guys linch him because you're sad his messing with his singleplayer experience. How sad do you have to be to act like that?

Edit: I'm glad someone helped you out after these guys ♥♥♥♥ measuring contest ended.

In their defense, people got a little overzealous about cheating after the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that was XV1 random multiplayer, it legitimately ruined the experience for many people(I honestly had fun with it, there was some catharsis in managing to get a draw against a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ using invincibility cheats), so I understand their side even if I don't agree with it.

There is no VAC ban. If this is like XV1, he's disabled from getting in as long as the character has more attribute points slotted than he should have for his level. If he drops his attributes, his chaacter will be usable again. Honestly, this doesn't sound like a difficult fix. I imagine you can probably fix it easily with a memory editor.

No. A stats reset when you have too many stats just gives you them all back. You have to use whatever program you used to gain too many skill points to set it at what is reasonable for your level.

I'm confused. The OP used a hack to change his stats beyond normal levels... can't he just use the same hack to change them back?

Yes.

The AI is pretty ass, not saying I support this bro cheating but you can get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pretty easy later on fighting multiple enemies at the same time. The same was true of the first game.
Dimps took off the super armour but it's still a crapshoot sometimes.
Maybe you should get off your high horse and get ♥♥♥♥♥♥, ya dweeb~

Anyway @OP I think you should be fine going back online by editing back the values you changed or simply making a new character. Honestly if you need to cheat to get off a hard fight just look up a trainer, load up some infinite health and beat it then turn it off. Nothing wrong with that. Honestly you're not gonna get anywhere cheating though. Buy some healing stuff and learn the mechanics, you have a lot more options in this game than Xeno1 for avoiding damage and stunlocks.
