So your saying that I would use the skill as an alternate form of attack to counter people using long range? Uh, isn't there a dash machanic for that. What I want are some tips. Or a guide of some sort. And also if I should even use this seemingly crappy "Awoken skill" or go with something else, like Kaioken or Potenal when I get it, because those are actully power boosters?
Getting pissy at the people calmly explaining that to you is not gonna turn it into a massive power boost. Just remake your character as a Saiyan, use SSJ3, and CALM DOWN.
Yes basic attack does boost Power Pole Pro's damage. The perks of using it are the super armor and ability to block while dashing/moving. The main damage comes from the dash combo which hits pretty hard and you can cancel the huge delay on the last hit with back + strong attack.
It's not a great universal transform skill but it does take zero resources to use so you can take advantage of a lot of boosts such as activating things with max ki/stamina. If your build focuses on maxing basic attack, you can actually do some decent damage. If not, then it's pretty lame yeah.
It does feel lacking and even if effective can feel very boring. I would have liked to see them let you use the power pole strike skills while transformed.
