Easiest way to get high tier food is milk missions and giving the namekian the items he needs, doing one mission and going back to him. Do this again and again and well, you will be at 6 buu's in no time! You can also search the rivers and the gohan house for tier 3 fish.

Honestly, I just bought a bunch of water. You need 34 I think to max him out per buu.

Item shop. Open item shop, RB twice, right before Super Souls

Where do you buy food? I just went on an item rotation, did a mish, then repeated that rotation. Got 10 food items usually.

You go Bamboo forest by the shrine for scales/fishbones/roasted fish, then namekian area for carrot/lpotato/lettice, fly to the area above ginyu for another veggie thing. Then go to mushroom and get your mushroom pickup and go up to cell and get another mushroom pick up, then go to under buu's house platofrm and get your food item there, follow the river, and get the food item in that lake at the bottom of the waterfall.

Rinse repeat every mish.

I believe pudding is his favorite. I actually used the DB's to "I want a Full Stomach" and I got like...30 or 60 puddings. Perhaps Shenron gives you the max you'd need to fill buu up entirely.

There are also 4 or 5 NPCs that have a chance to give you food after every mission. They will usually give either Pudding or Candy. Just look for NPC timepatrollers around the city with red question marks over their heads. Between the ♥♥♥♥ on the ground and those NPCs you can often get one full Buu per 2 missions or so. It's actually fairly easy.

There's way more than 4 or 5. I've come across at least 10-12 food giving NPC's.

it's 34 water to get a new child for buu, which you can up to 6 times or 10 if you're not a majin

You can buy food in the item shop after progressing to a certain point in the story.
