Can you play offline?

I was thinking of getting this game but I remembered when xenoverse(1) first launched people were not able to play in offline mode. Is it possible to play on offline mode in xenoverse 2? Yes I know they fixed the whole offline thing on xenoverse but I also know this game just launched.

Just got the game today, and if you're still on the fence about this issue, I can confirm for you that you CAN indeed play in offline mode. So if you don't have constant internet connection like me, you'll still be able to play

You can. You will just not get random peoples characters Side Missions but instead premade characters from the game. Sometimes the same guy multiple times, hehe. Had that happen when steam was down yesterday or when it was.

You STILL get sometimes thrown out of the hub-world when you disconnect from online which i hate. If you are offline from the get-go, i see no problems.

Same exact as XV1. To play offline, all of your Steam client must be offline. Lame but it seems devs won't add an actual offline option.
