Majin transformation annoyance....

am i the only one thats really annoyed at the fact that when female majins transform that they turn into male kid buu?
its not like it would have been too hard for them to make a female version with how they have it set up currently, its literally one extra model.....

They turn into Kid Buu because it's supposed to be them drawing on the power of their race's origin. Personally I find the transformation kinda stupid regardless of whether your character is male or female.

Majins are the only race that has a transformation that voids all your customization (aside from color).

Kid buu became a "male" super buu initially because he absorbed a male kai. Think of your character as kid buu absorbing a female character thus becoming a "female" looking buu, with your transformation returning you to your pure kid buu state.

its because you cannot understand that Buu doesnt have a gender in a first place, no one knows if Kid buu the pure form had different forms before. Think of female majin as kid buu absorbed female

I'll just copy here what I've said on another thread, to complete what Tar is saying.

To change female majins transformation would be completly stupid, if you know dragon ball lore. Considering that the transformation is "pure form", that every characters that are majins result from this pure form absorbing something else that make it turning into what your majin are, you can't change female majins' transformation.

From what little I understand of Majin Buu lore, "Kid Buu" is what Bibidi first created. You cannot get more basic than that. It's the form he returns to when everything is expelled off him. His strength doesn't matter though it seems Super Buu fought the strongest opponents and transformations, like Ultimate Gohan and Vegeto. Kid Buu only fought Goku and Vegeta as their SSJ2 and SSJ3 separate forms, which are weaker than at least SSJ Vegeto.

I also believe Kid Buu isn't really evil. Just chaotic. He fights and destroys things because that's what chaos does. Destruction and most important, change, which is the real meaning of chaos.

Female majins are non canon to the original DBZ lore, but their game lore indicates that they came from Majin Buu after he turned good thanks to Mr.Satan. They seem to also have free will and are not part of a hive mind controlled by the original majin. So as a member of the new Buu race, the fe majin is also just another shape for Buu, which can be changed seemingly at will as they are considered even blobs (by Jiece at least), so they just show the shape of their choosing. of course, the game will not allow you to change your majin to other things at will because of balancing and limitations.

Now, purification means they learned to revert back to their original form, temporarily expelling all outside influence, hence why they use Kid Buu's attack set an their transformation is "timed" through stamina drain.

all that is cool and dandy but still its pretty disturbing hearing my female majin voice coming out of kid buu *shivers*

what they should do is add something like a super buu from, in that way making the fat buu looking slender and cool and they should give the female buu a longer antena and a special costume to both.

super buu by a long margin is the favorite design of buu by a lot of people, no one cares about kid buu.

Kid Buu absolutely is the weakest form of Buu. If you watched the Buu arc you would know this. Majin Buu was much stronger than Kid Buu because Majin Buu had the fat Kai and one of the Supreme Kais inside him. When Majin Buu split into two Buus that was essentially Majin Buu spitting out the Kid Buu+Supreme Kai part of himself in order to be more Fat Kai. However Fat Kai is simply too nice to be an effective fighter. Evil Buu then absorbed Majin Buu to become partly Super Buu, remerging Majin Buu with the Supreme Kai while keeping Majin Buu absorbed. Evil Buu achieved full Super Buu status by absorbing first SS3 Gotenks and then Mystic Gohan.

Super Buu then reverted ALL the way back to the beginning of Kid Buu when Goku/Vegeta cut out Majin Buu from Super Buu. As the only part of Buu remaining in that body was now Kid Buu, Majin Buu reverted all the way back to Kid Buu. At this point SS2 Vegeta was almost a match for Kid Buu but not quite because Kid Buu really is the weakest form of Buu. However Kid Buu is complete chaos and destruction, and since he cannot really be injured or tired out while Vegeta could be both injured and tired out it was a complete loss for Vegeta and Goku. They lost not because Kid Buu was stronger, Kid Buu was weaker, but because Kid Buu could not be permanently harmed or halted through any means they possessed (except for the giant Spirit Bomb).

Kid Buu was only stopped in the first place because he absorbed the Fat Kai which completely altered his apparent personality, eventually leading to the creation of a completely seperable Buu conciousness. Kid Buu stopped being an entity whose only means of existence involved destroying and became en entity that existed for itself and its own amusement. Hence we see Buu running around turning everything into candy and enjoying fighting, instead of simply killing everyone and blowing up the world up straight away and moving on. Majin Buu let's Goku leave and decides not to destroy everything when Goku promises that he will train up a new strong fighter for Majin Buu to fight. Majin Buu runs around eating candy, befriends Mr. Satan, etc because Majin Buu is a completely new conciousness.

Kid Buu IS portrayed as being the weakest form of Buu. He gets beaten by one of the Supreme Kais (the one he absorbs), he gets beaten by the Fat Kai (who he absorbs), he gets pushed back/beaten by SS2 Vegeta returned from death. Super Buu (with Mystic Gohan absorbed) was easily beating the snot out of SS3 Goku. SS3 Goku was beating but nearly on par with Majin Buu, and he beats Kid Buu. By the transitive property Kid Buu is the weakest form of Buu in terms of power level but the strongest in terms of being just a force of destruction that goes around killing and blowing planets up.

The New Majin PC is STRONGER than Kid Buu. The New Majin PC is on par with Beerus. Even if the New Majin PC became Kid Buu completely, that would be taking on a weaker form because Kid Buu is weaker than Beerus, weaker than SS3 Goku. This is quite different from becoming a Super Saiyan as becoming a Super Saiyan is shown as multiplying out one's power level over and above one's base form. Buu returning to being Kid Buu was portrayed as making Buu weaker in power level.

Majin Buu didn't grow weaker in power level by absorbing the Fat Kai, he grew weaker in personality. Majin Buu lost his desire to destroy when he absorbed the Fat Kai, and that desire to destroy may have been his strongest trait as he was essentially immortal and inexhaustible. He gained power at the cost of gaining purpose and gaining a sense of self that made him want to satisfy his own desires instead of just running around blowing planets up.

Now if the Kid buu transformation gave us back our ability to immediately regenerate, infinite Ki and infinite stamina then it would subjectively be better as we would be gaining something valuable in return for what should be a loss of power level.

But this doesn't explain why female Majins turn into Kid Buu when Kid Buu was male, Majin Buu was male, and our character is female. Our character isn't female because a clump of Buu meat absorbed a girl and so took on the traits of that absorbed girl. Our character is female because she was created female. Kid Buu was created as a male which is why he is male as Kid Buu. For all we know, Kid Buu would still be male even if his absorbed a female stronger than he was. There simply isn't enough evidence to make a determination one way or the other as there were no super strong female fighters absorbed by any form of Buu. If Kid Buu would still be male even after absorbing a stronger female fighter then this implies that our character would be female even if purified because her Buu essence is female.
